These are high-quality carpet grippers, cut from resin-bonded plywood with a five-ply (6mm) thickness. Pre-prepared with specially tempered nails, Royale carpet grippers offer superior holding power – for all types of carpet – and are suitable for use in both residential and commercial environments.

Royale Professional

Royale 'black' professional carpet grippers are made from premium birch plywood, with extra-long pins that are pre-driven along their length. As such, they're the perfect wood grippers for use with heavy reinforced backed carpet and thicker underlays. Each pack contains a gripper rod measuring 500ft (152.4 metres).

Royale DIY Grippers

Available in both a 40ft (12m) and 60ft (18m) pack. The DIY wood gripper rods come in easy-to-install 76cm length pieces and come pre-nailed for hammering down & pins already fixed.

All of the gripper rods in this range feature ‘wood' nails. That means they are specifically designed for use with a wooden subfloor and can be easily fixed onto most wood floors.

They're also very easy to install. Simply fix the wood grippers down using a hammer, with the pins facing away from the installation, and stretch the underlay and carpet over the pins for a tight fit.
