Bigfoot Black is a 1017g/m2 (30oz/yd2) medium weight luxury use domestic underlay for the discerning customer who wants that extra special felt underlay. Suitable for heavy domestic use and is ideal in living areas, bedrooms, stairs and landings. Bigfoot Black is made from 100% recycled fibres with a coloured polyprop top surface. This offers greater comfort and resilience than standard felts, and also provides excellent comfort and durability along with excellent heat and sound insulation properties. It allows air circulation and carpets to breathe. Moisture will not be trapped under the carpet and the build up of mildew is eliminated. Bigfoot Black has safer fire retardant properties and gives off non-toxic 'white smoke' as opposed to toxic 'black smoke' which is usually emitted when rubber burns. Bigfoot Black absorbs airborne and footfall noise to give a quieter home environment. Bigfoot Black will not crumble due to high foot traffic or wear from chairs with castors and will remain stable for years.
